Blue Water

I'm a Prairie girl and have always lived in Saskatchewan. I started off my career in Nursing and then moved on to a Bachelor of Social Work. And most recently I obtained a Master's of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I have been successfully assisting clients throughout Saskatchewan and facilitating their self-growth for 30+ years.

I have a special interest in working with adults with ADHD and supporting parents with children with ADHD as ADHD is prevalent in my own family.  I understand the daily struggles individuals and parents face each day.

If you are feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, my services aim to introduce clarity and self-motivation. I also teach techniques to better manage the emotional stress of everyday life.

Are you struggling?

It might not feel like it, but you're not alone. You may be thinking that you’re the only one who's struggling with accomplishing your goals, and to feel whole and happy in your life and relationships.

Counselling can help you cope with your experiences and anyone can benefit from therapy.  You don't need to be in crisis to get support. You can be proactive about your mental health and prevent concerns from developing into larger problems.  Counselling can provide relief from symptoms you are experiencing and restore your quality of life and help you learn how to be yourself again.

You Might be thinking " Is Counselling right for me?"

Starting therapy can be intimidating. You might feel awkward and not know where to start, or you may be concerned that you will be uncomfortable having personal conversations with a stranger.  Rest assured many people feel awkward when they first start talking to a counsellor.  This discomfort is normal and temporary.  There is no "right way" to participate in therapy: clients simply come as they are and it is my job to create an environment that is safe and comfortable so we can build a trusting relationship.

Please remember there are no problems that are too small.  Anything can cause distress and it is my job to support you with issues that are big or small.  I will help guide the counselling process in a way that is supportive for your personality, needs, goals and comfort.

I invite you to think about therapy as a way to better understand yourself while finding tools, insight and strength to move forward.  This includes insight and clarity that is paired with support with someone walking beside you and supporting you along the way.
